Our History
Especiera del Sur was formed on 1995, as a challenge imposed by its members Luis Felipe Giagnoni and Rómulo Giagnoni. Creating a company that produce and process Paprika, with the objective ofsupplying food industries with high quality standards in Chile and abroad.
Our first challenge was to set up a factory, with Spanish technology in order to obtain a paprika with granulometry and characteristic color.
Then the second challenge was to grow varieties of Peppers, to obtain the flavor, smell and color that our customers demand.
Fortunately, thanks to the good conditions for agriculture in our country, varieties of Spanish and Hungarian origin were produced in a very good way, which allowed us to have excellent quality raw materials.
Together with these raw materials, good processing and adequate business knowledge was formed in 1995 ESPECIERA DEL SUR LTDA., Supplying the national market and immediately started exporting its products to different countries in America, Asia and Europe.
